Fabricated signage in DM or PVC?

It depends on whether your signage is installed indoors or outdoors. For indoor installation, the best option is lacquered DM, with the same finish as premium PVC but somewhat cheaper.DM is not guaranteed outside, even if it is lacquered behind or water-repellent DM is used. For signage installed outdoors we recommend the PVC option.

What is the difference between the Basic finish and the Premium finish?

The only difference is that it does not seal the surface of the edges of the material, but the front is the same as the Premium finish.

The Basic finish is recommended for signage to be installed at more than 2.5 meters high.

Does the Basic finish have the same guarantee as the Premium finish?

Yes, it has the same guarantee, the only difference is that it does not seal the surface of the edges of the material, but the front is the same as the Premium finish and it is guaranteed for outdoor use.

Should unpainted PVC letters be used for outside?

No, it is never advisable to use unpainted letter outside, they yellow and smudge the inner part and then cannot be cleaned.

How long does it take to manufacture a sign?

The manufacturing time depends on the size of the sign and the model. For signs in DM or PVC we can give a manufacturing time of 4 to 7 days and for signage in aluminium, steel and special materials, it takes 8 to 10 days.

How do I send the file for fabrication?

In order to provide a quote for signage, we need you to send us a real size vector file.

What is the minimum width for a sign which will be moulded?

The minimum width of the letter for signage requiring moulding (aluminium, steel, brass...) must be at least 15mm. For measurements less than 15mm, you should consult us.

Can aluminium signage letters be fabricated with a grinded finish?

No, grinded finished aluminium cannot be welded; the option is grinded stainless steel.

What material should be used when manufacturing signage for marine environments?

For marine environments 316 stainless steel is used with the same finish as 304 stainless steel (Satin, gloss and grinded).

What colour cards do you work with?

We can lacquer in RAL, Pantone, NCS and vinyl colour chart imitation.

Is there any type of economical paint that imitates stainless steel?

No, there is no paint that imitates stainless steel at a reasonable price; the best approach is the metallic silver lacquer.

Is it possible to diffuse lacquer?

Yes, it is possible, as long as it has been included in the quotation.

What kind of paints are used?

The paints that we use for lacquering are two-component polyurethanes.

What installation system do the opaque letters carry?

The installation for the blind letters is with a 10mm PVC rear.

What kind of rear do the backlit letters have?

The rears of the backlit letters are manufactured as standard with an 8mm OPAL acrylic back. This facilitates installation, protects the LEDs and diffuses light perfectly. Transparent backs are not used as they mark the LEDs.

What options are there for the fronts of the front lit letters?

Front lit faces of the letters can be white with the customer adding their vinyls, or us adding them or with coloured acrylic.

What kind of power sources are used?

We use Mean well power supplies.

Can you make letters over 150cm high?

Yes, but a quotation must be requested beforehand, regardless of the fabrication material or model.
